School Holiday Accommodation at Moso House: What Makes Moso House so Special for Families?

undefined

School holidays on the Central Coast are peak season for a reason, the beaches are warm, the rates are great  and the distance from Sydney is just right.

Finding accommodation that genuinely works for families, though, takes more than a bedroom count. Moso House delivers.

Why Families Choose Moso House

Families with children don't just need beds - they need space, safety, flexibility and enough to do without constant logistics. Moso House provides all of that in a setting that parents genuinely love as much as the kids do.  Plus its a win win for the adults with no compromise on quality and luxury.

  • Private pool - no sharing with strangers, no pool rules, no booking a time slot. The pool is yours for the entire stay.
  • Space - the property is designed for groups, with indoor and outdoor living areas that give everyone room to breathe
  • 3pm check-out - means no frantic morning pack-up on your last day. Kids can swim until early afternoon.
  • Safe beach proximity - Pearl Beach is one of the most family-friendly beaches on the coast, with a swimming enclosure and gentle conditions plus it is a short stroll around the corner and there is a great playground which the kids will love (note the beach is not patrolled and is not suitable for children to swim unsupervised- especially the North End)
  • Extra Beds - we have 4 bedrooms for 8 adults (or children) and we also provide free of charge 2 beni beds, which can be used for small children. They are also fun to lounge around on by the pool or even take to the beach.
  • Back to Nature - the streets are quiet - there are no shops, pubs or clubs, just you the beach and nature.  Get the kids off devices and onto the coastal walks, ocean swims and end the day with the fire pit and games night.  We recommend the Pearl Beach to Patonga walk, it has spectacular views at the top over to Palm beach and your reward is a cold beverage to The Boat House at Patonga.  Note it is a long fairly step walk and best for older kids over 10 and not suitable for anyone with mobility issues.
  • Catering - we know you may love to cook but we can sort you out for at least one night with our "First Night Sorted" meal drop, how perfect to have a hearty wholefood meal dropped at your door ready for you to heat and serve.

Pearl Beach for Kids: What to Do

On the Beach

The Pearl Beach swimming enclosure is a game-changer for parents of younger children. The water is calm, the depth is gradual and the bay is protected. Older kids love snorkelling along the rocks on the northern end of the beach.

The Arboretum

The Pearl Beach Arboretum is a genuinely wonderful family walk — shaded, interesting and short enough for primary-school-aged children. Look for the enormous Moreton Bay figs and the resident kookaburras.

The Patonga Ferry

Kids love the Patonga to Palm Beach ferry. The 30-minute crossing across Broken Bay is an adventure in itself — look for dolphins in the channel. Palm Beach has a patrolled ocean beach and the filming location of Home and Away for any young fans. It also has loads of great dining (and wineing) spots for the whole family.

Bouddi National Park

For older children or active families, the Bouddi Coastal Walk is outstanding. The section from Maitland Bay to Little Beach takes about 90 minutes and rewards with sweeping coastal views and a near-private beach at the end.

School Holiday Booking Tips

July school holidays book out in May. October school holidays book out in August. Summer school holidays (the longest and most popular) begin selling from now, April and are often fully booked by September.
