Something you may not know about The Greenhouse Retreats is when we started back in 2016 we were actually called The Greenhouse wellness Retreat.
We had one house and my vision was to create a beautiful space where people could get away and focus on their wellness at the same time as enjoying great food and wine with their friends and family.
Basically, my idea was somewhere between a luxury hotel and a wellness retreat - and where he would not have to go without your morning coffee ritual or evening glass of bubbles.
This vision is still front and centre of our brand and one of the reasons why it was really important for me when we did the Moso project to include two of my absolute favourite wellness routines which is sauna and cold plunge❄️❄️
I am really excited to share this with our guests and I hope it does start an obsession for them as well.
I highly recommend jumping on to as much data and info as you can as there are so many benefits but I can tell you from my own personal experience is it is something you feel almost instantly and for the rest of the day after doing a sauna and cold plunge. It is undeniable and something that I really value.

The Moso House kitchen was thoroughly thought through and it shows …
We love to cook and eat and drink wine and entertain and we know our guests do also.🍷🍷🍷
Especially on holiday - and this is why we book an airbnb or house rather than a hotel room - it’s so we can cook and spend time cooking and preparing and sharing beautiful food.
We did not dail this kitchen down - we specced it UP with cement bench tops - 2 dishwashers - double oven - 2 wine fridges - ice - coffee machine - zip tap with sparkling water and the all important butlers panty with even more bench and clean up space.
This kitchen is a dream with loads of light and is central to the house so even meal prep is done with the whole gang.

Soft furnishings are so important for the overall feel of a space and one that quite often gets overlooked as it is one of the very last things to go in.
It is usually when time and budget has run out. I am so glad that we allowed for these beautiful linen curtains to finish off the rooms, including the bedrooms. It adds a softness and layers which make a room feel well balanced.
This is the fabric that we used in the original cottage - in fact we have been able to reuse those curtains in the bedrooms so it’s another homage to the OG and I’m loving how it works with all the soft oaks and natural elements throughout the house.

It’s nearly 2 years since we bought this property and completed a quick Reno and make over.
You may remember the Reno was a quick one and we did mostly cosmetic changes and a huge amount of desperately needed grounds work and styling.
